A2 Beginner Level

The A2 German Course is ideal for learners who have completed A1 or already possess basic German knowledge. It helps improve fluency, sentence formation, and vocabulary, allowing learners to communicate more naturally and confidently. The course covers past and future tenses and focuses on practical, real-life conversations. By the end of the course, learners will be able to speak German confidently for everyday situations, travel, work, and personal communication.

What Will I Learn From This Course?

In this course, you will improve your German speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while building stronger sentence structures and expanding your vocabulary. You will learn to use past and future tenses, express opinions, describe experiences, and communicate confidently in everyday situations such as work, travel, and social interactions. By the end of the course, you will be able to understand and participate in real-life conversations with greater fluency and accuracy.

The A2 German course builds fluency and strengthens grammatical skills through practical, real-life communication. It features well-structured lessons that help learners gain confidence in both spoken and written German, enabling them to communicate more naturally in everyday situations.

Chapter(1-4)
Chapter 1: Freizeit und Hobbys (10 UE)
  • Activities: Talking about hobbies and free time, planning activities, grammar (past tense of regular and irregular verbs, verb position in subordinate clauses), vocabulary related to leisure activities and planning.
Chapter 2: Reisen und Urlaub (10 UE)
  • Activities: Discussing travel plans and experiences, making reservations, grammar (past tense with ‘haben’ and ‘sein’, time expressions), vocabulary related to travel, accommodation, and tourism.
Chapter 3: Essen und Trinken (10 UE)
  • Activities: Ordering food, discussing nutrition habits, grammar (imperatives, partitive articles), vocabulary related to food, drinks, and restaurant conversations.
Chapter 4: Gesundheit und Körper (10 UE)
  • Activities: Talking about health, making medical appointments, grammar (modal verbs in the past, reflexive verbs with dative and accusative), vocabulary related to body parts, symptoms, and doctor’s visits.
Chapter 5: Wohnen und Stadtleben (10 UE)
  • Activities: Talking about housing, giving directions, grammar (two-way prepositions, relative clauses), vocabulary related to housing, furniture, and city navigation.
Chapter 6: Arbeitswelt und Berufe (10 UE)
  • Activities: Talking about jobs, work-life balance, writing formal emails, grammar (subjunctive II for polite requests, prepositions with dative and accusative), vocabulary related to professions, workplace communication, and applications.

What is the A2 level in German?

A2 is the elementary level where learners can communicate in simple everyday situations with more confidence.

What will I learn in the A2 German course?

You will improve fluency, learn past and future tenses, and communicate more naturally in real-life situations.

It usually takes about 2 to 3 months with regular practice.

A2 is slightly more challenging than A1 but becomes easy with regular practice and guidance.
